First time computer viruses are created along with the creation of a computer. In 1949, one of the creators computers, John von Newman, who created the Electronic Discrete Variable Automatic Computer (EDVAC), presented a paper entitled “Theory and Organization of Complicated Automata.” In his paper discussed possible programs that can spread by itself. The development of the next computer virus occurred at AT & T Bell Laboratory one of the largest computer lab in the world that has produce many things, as in C and C + + .1 Dilaboratorium, about in the 1960s, each time off the researchers made game with a program that can destroy the ability to correct itself and behind the attack opposite position. In addition, the game program can reproduce itself automatically. War program called Core War, the winner is the owner of the largest programs in the remaining intervals. Because aware of the dangers of these programs, especially when it leaked out of the lab, so each finished the game, the program is always destroyed. Around the 1970s, Xerox company introduced a program that used to assist the smooth working. Program structure resembling a virus, but this program is to use time as possible and at the same time two tasks can be done.

In The 1980s, the virus in the world war began with the presentation open Fred Cohen, a researcher and assistant professor at University of Cincinati, Ohio. In his presentation, Fred also demonstrates a creation program, which a virus that can spread rapidly in a number of computers. While developing the virus, Indonesia also exposed to the virus outbreak began. The first computer virus is spreading in Indonesia in 1988. Viruses such stirring all computer users in Indonesia, then, is © Brain virus known as viral Pakistan.
